It was a mere 12 years ago that I was entering my senior year…I can promise you, seniors did NOT look like this. I swear, every senior I shoot I feel like should be posing for Anthropologie or something similar! And talk about style! Meet B- a senior at Edmond North. From what I hear she has a heart of gold to go along with those strikingly good looks. She’s not quite sure where she’s going to school yet, but don’t worry- I tried to push her in the right direction (ORANGE all the way!) 99% of the time I leave a shoot thinking, “I can’t wait to go through the photos- I know I got some great ones.” C was one of the 1% that I was pretty sure we were going to need to reshoot. I didn’t set up the most genius time- he was hungry and tired (sorry, mom!) But I was pleasantly surprised with the photos…I should have realized with a face like that, there’s no way he could take a bad photo! Anyway, I love this little guy…even if he wants nothing to do with me! And little does he know, I’m working to make him my future son-in-law (which means he still won’t want anything to do with me, haha.) And as the title implies, he is king of the shy smiles…love that little look when he looks away or down and gets a big grin on his face. And boy does he do smoldering well! C- thanks for giving me the pleasure of shooting C again! Hopefully if we do this enough, he’ll get more comfortable with me!! Enjoy!

I’ve decided I want to be born into this family- talk about some great genes! I’ve taken little B’s pics a few times now and I’ve always thought he is one of the most breathtaking baby boys I’ve ever seen…and then I met his two cousins. Goodness, those are beautiful children! What’s that sound? That would be my biological clock picking up speed. Meet the newest addition to the H family. Isn’t she beautiful??!! Reminds me of a beautiful newborn baby girl I once knew…not to toot my own horn! 
This little sweetie made me melt. And proud big brother- what a charmer! Little H looks so much like her big brother, I caught her making many different faces that look just like his adorable faces he makes! So weird how at just a week old they already seem to have this amazing bond. I can’t wait to see them grow up together. I think all babies should be born in the summer months- there’s nothing like taking them out into fresh, warm summer air to relax them and make them feel right at home. And the natural light? Swoon! Mr. K is turning the big 1 in July, so we went out to get some shots for invitations and also some family shots. These were K’s modeling debut (and don’t beat yourself up, K- I can only imagine how busy life must be with 3 kiddos) and I think he did swimmingly! He wasn’t so sure about being in the grass, but big sister and brother sure knew how to get him smiling. And seriously, is this not the most beautiful family ever?! Mom told me that they say K is destined for greatness- I believe it. Just look at angelic photo with the sun coming in right above his head! Here’s a family after my own heart- a bunch of redheads! These photos scream fun. We walked around on a VERY hot day, but everyone was a good sport. There was a little bit of ice cream on the line, which led to some very big, toothy grins from a younger brother- a little bribery always helps! I tried to get them to give each other a brotherly hug, but the one with them sitting on the ground is as close as they could handle- I’m sure in another 10 years or so, they’ll be the best of friends! Excuse the title…it’s an inside joke. Meet my sister, my brother in law, and my nephews. I finally got a second to breathe and was able to pay up on a Christmas present! Is this not the sweetest family you have ever seen? These boys are golden- I definitely got a good portion of my parenting skills from my sister- and I’m proud to say, Molly is pretty golden herself! Speaking of Molly…the little sweetie in the well pic? Well, she’s mine. T&D- it’s been amazing watching you raise these boys…and the love you two have is evident through each of them.
